From sennahyee.com: "Sennah Yee is from Toronto, where she writes poetry, prose, and film criticism. She is the author of the poetry/non-fiction collection How Do I Look? (Metatron Press, 2017), which dissects pop culture through personal anecdotes. Her first children’s book, My Day with Gong Gong, inspired by Toronto’s Chinatown and her own gong gong/grandpa, is forthcoming from Annick Press in 2021. She is the Producer and Production Designer of the feature film Withdrawn. Her Cinema & Media Studies Masters thesis, Gendered Robot Design in Mainstream Media & Technology, was awarded a SSHRC Grant. Currently, Sennah is the Knowledge Mobilization Officer at Archive/Counter-Archive, a project dedicated to the activation and remediation of archives by marginalized communities.
